Removing the accumulated food debris from the surface of your grill grates will keep the debris from damaging the protective coating applied to the grill grates.   • Dishwashing soap
  • One gallon plastic bucket
  • Water
  • Brass bristled brush

Instructions

      Allow the grill grate to cool before cleaning.

      Pour roughly two teaspoons of dishwashing soap into a one gallon plastic bucket.

      Fill the plastic bucket with water. Stop filling the bucket with water when the water level comes within two-inches of the bucket's top rim.

      Dip the brass bristled brush into the plastic bucket containing the soapy water solution.

      Brush the grill grates with the soap solution soaked brass bristled brush. Continual rinse the brass bristled brush with clean water to remove debris from the brush. Do not clean the brush by dipping the brush in the soapy water solution, as the water will become laden with dirt and grease.

      Rinse the cleaned grill grate with clean water to remove the grease and soap residue from the cleaning process.

      Alternate between cleaning and rinsing the grill grate until the grate is free of all debris and soap residue. You must ensure that no soap remains on the grate.
