How to Remove the History From Safari on an iPhone thumbnail
Deleting browsing history on your Safari iPhone app is easy

One of the most-used built-in applications on the iPhone is the Safari Web browser. Using Safari, iPhone users are able to browse the Internet. Like other browsers, Safari keeps track of what websites you are visiting and what Google searches you are doing. In most cases, this is a good thing but some users may want to remove the history from Safari. Luckily, this is not only possible but it's also pretty simple to do.

Instructions

    • 1

Press the "Safari" button on your iPhone to open Safari.

    • 2

Press the "Bookmark" icon on the bottom of the screen. The bookmark icon looks like an open book.

    • 3

Press the "History" button within "Bookmarks."

    • 4

      Press the "Clear" button.

    • 5

Tap the red "Clear History" button to confirm that you want to remove the history from Safari on your iPhone. All Safari history, including visited sites and Google searches are then deleted from the Safari iPhone browser.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use a different method to delete just the history rather than the Google search inquiries. You can do this by pressing "Settings" then "Safari" and then "Clear History."
