How to Download Houses for the Sims 2

The Sims franchise was first offered only on personal computers.

The Sims 2, the sequel to the 2000 original game, was released in 2004 for Windows. The life simulation game allows players to customize not only people but also several other aspects of their fictional characters' lives. One of these aspects is the home that your Sims characters live in. Like many things in the game, houses can be downloaded from third-party websites without charge. Using a website like Parsimonious, you can find an example of how to download the houses easily.

• WinRAR or similar program

Instructions

1. Go to the Parsimonious website. Click on the "House" icon at the top of the page.

2. Cycle through the houses until you find the one you want. Click on the picture to start downloading the zip file.

3. Unzip the file with a program of your choosing. Send the file to the Downloads folder in My Documents - EA Games - The Sims 2.
