How to Use Numerology to Find Individual Personal Power Number

The Personal Power Number provides focus to life.

The personal power number acts like a beacon directing one throughout life, but it is most effective during the latter part of one's life. The personal power number acts as a summation of all the personal numbers by putting them under one focus or final goal. Helyn Hitchcock indicates in "Helping Yourself With Numerology," that one can compute the personal power number by adding the birth path number of the birth day and the destiny number of the birth name.

• Pen or pencil
• Paper
• Calculator or adding machine

Instructions

1. Compute the destiny number by assigning a number value for each letter in the full name given at birth using the following formula:
   1: A, J, S
   2: B, K, T
   3: C, L, U
   4: D, M, V
   5: E, N, W
   6: F, O, X
   7: G, P, Y
   8: H, Q, Z
   9: I, R, &

2. Add the point values for the total name together.

   Reduce any double numbers by adding them together. For instance, if the total number is 35; add 3+5 = 8 as the final number. This final number is called one's destiny number.

3. Compute the birth path number by adding together the numbers for the day, month and year of birth.

   Reduce any double numbers by adding them together. For instance, the birth path number for someone born on December 16, 1956 would be:
   1+2+1+6+1+9+5+6 = 31 reduced to 3 + 1 = 4

4. Add the destiny number to the birth path number. In this example add 8 + 4 = 12

   Reduce any double numbers by adding them together. In this example 1 + 2 = 3 is the Personal Power Number
