How to Uninstall Programs & Features in Windows thumbnail
Uninstalling programs can be done easily in a Windows operating system.

Uninstalling programs and features in a Windows computer operating system can be done through the Control Panel utility, which is included in all Windows versions. Be aware that uninstalling a program does not delete the installation files for that program from the computer. Uninstallation removes the program files from the operating system, preventing the program from being run through Windows.

Instructions

    • 1

Access the "Start" menu and open the "Control Panel" utility.

    • 2

    • 3

Select the program to be uninstalled from the list of programs in the window. While the program is selected, click on the "Uninstall/Change" button to uninstall the program.
