      Purchase the yellow tulips or cut them from your garden. Immediately place the stems in a bucket of water while preparing to package them.

      Soak three to five sheets of newspaper. Wrap the soaked newspapers around the tulips stems.

      Place the newspaper-wrapped stems into a plastic bag, wrapping the bag around the newspaper. Leave the leaves and the blooms unwrapped. Place the bouquet into an empty plastic vase.

Secure the vase inside of the shipping box by using a corrugated divider.The corrugated divider will lock the vase in place, preventing movement while being shipped.
