How to Make Your Own Ringtones with a Composer
Nokia cell phones come with a built-in application called the ringtone composer. Using this application, you can create your own ringtones by entering different music notes. It is a fun and creative activity, and you get to compose unique ringtones that nobody else can have.

Press the "Menu" button on your phone. Select "Applications" > "Tones Composer."

Choose "Creating a New Ringtone."

Enter music notes for creating a ringtone. The available notes are c, d, e, f, g, a, and b. The keys assigned for these notes are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 respectively. You can also enter the "pause" note during the ringtone by pressing 0.

Press the buttons 9 or 8 for lengthening or shortening each note's duration. Typically, the original length of each note on the Nokia composer is 1/4. You can see each note's length next to the note on the screen.

Press the # button to modify the pitch of each note. If you change the pitch of a note to "sharp," the note will show a "#" in front of it.

Save the ringtone once you are done. Go to "Options" > "Save" > "OK." The ringtone will be saved in your ringtones folder on the phone.
