By the mid-1980s, Nike was the dominant athletic shoe brand in the United States, a position that it continues to hold. The company provides a simple way for those interested in becoming a Nike retailer to express such interest and acquire the information necessary to move forward. Just do it by emailing the company your request for an application packet.

      Visit Nike.com. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "About Nike/Jobs." Click on "FAQS" located on the panel on the left of the page.

      Click on "Selling Nike products as a New Account," which as of May 2010 is number 8 under the "Frequently Asked Questions" section. To become a Nike retailer you must request an application.

      Address an email m.newdoor.inq@nike.com to contact Nike's Customer Information group. Indicate that you would like to apply for an account as either a domestic or international Nike retailer. In the email include your customer contact name, company name, email address and mailing address. Expect to receive an application packet by email in seven to 10 business days.
