How to Transfer Video From a DVD Recorder to an External Hard Drive
A DVD recorder saves the video it has captured directly onto a DVD disc. You can transfer the video from the DVD to an external hard drive for safekeeping or playing on another computer. The procedure is straightforward and requires converting the video from the DVD into a digital video file. You can do this using a disc copy program. You can find a number of free programs, all which operate in a similar manner.
