Make your own calendar free online

Designing a calendar online is not only fun, but provides you with a fully functional and personalized calendar that you can use all year. While many websites provide you with templates for calendars for free, keep in mind the quality of other templates that come with a fee may be better. If you do not print your calendar through a professional venue, choose high-quality paper and be sure your printer is stocked with color ink.

Instructions

    • 1

Decide on a theme for your calendar if you are including images. Browse through your own photos or royalty-free stock images and choose 12 images, one for each month. Save each image to your desktop and label them according to the month that will be featured.

    • 2

Make a list of all personal or work-related dates you want included on your calendar. Examples include the birthdays and anniversaries of family and friends, job deadlines and vacation times.

    • 3

Choose a website that offers free calendar templates, such as Calendars That Work, My Free Calendar Maker, or Keep and Share. Check a few websites, as each will offer different templates and one might be more suitable for your theme and other needs.

    • 4

Select your template. The website may prompt to you include their own list of U.S. or Canadian holidays by checking a box. Choose the starting date of your calender and enter how long you would like it to run. Depending on the website, you may be able to choose from a weekly or monthly calendar template. Enter your own date information that you listed in Step 2.

    • 5

Upload your images, if applicable, assigning each one to be featured above the proper month. Choose the size of the paper you will be printing the calendar on. Letter works well for a desk calendar, while A4 may be better for a wall calendar.

Print your calendar. Be sure to have good-quality paper loaded in your printer. For a calendar that will last several months or longer, consider bringing the calendar to an office supply store to have it professionally bound and laminated.
