Of course, you should never polish your nails while sitting on the couch, and you should always be very careful with wet nails. Things You'll Need

  • 2 clean cloths
  • 1 tbsp. rubbing alcohol
  • 1 tbsp. nail polish remover with acetone

Instructions

      Pour 1 tbsp. of rubbing alcohol onto a clean cloth. Gently but firmly wipe the polish stain with the alcohol. Don't be afraid to scrub a little--the dried nail polish won't bleed.

      Pour 1 tbsp. of nail polish with acetone onto another side of the cloth. Immediately after rubbing the stain with the alcohol, begin scrubbing the stain with the nail polish remover. Don't worry, the nail polish will not stain or bleach the couch.

      Soak a second cloth in cool water. Place the cloth on the part of the couch where the stain used to be. Apply pressure to the spot with the saturated cloth. This will ensure that the alcohol and nail polish remover is sopped up.
