  • Cloths
  • Mineral spirits

      Spray a wood cleaner on a cloth. Wipe the cloth over the scuff mark. Turn the cloth over and spray on additional cleaner and continue wiping. Remove as much of the scuff mark as possible.

      Pour 1 to 2 tbsp. of mineral spirits on a clean cloth. Rub the mineral spirits onto any remaining scuff marks. Rub the mineral spirits in gently using circular motions. Continue rubbing, lifting the entire scuff mark from the floor. Use additional mineral spirits if needed.

      Wipe the loosened scuff mark residue and the mineral spirits from the wood floor with a damp rag. Do not use a wet rag. Use warm water on the rag, and wring it out before wiping on the floor.

      Dry the floor with a clean soft cloth. Spray floor wax onto the wood and wipe clean with a dry cloth.
