Instructions

1. Consult your dentist. Depending on your age and the type of dental work you have in place (e.g., false/replaced teeth, crowns), your dentist may have certain recommendations for you. Many dental offices offer a number of teeth whitening options.

2. Visit your local pharmacy or grocery store and peruse the selection of teeth whitening products. There are adhesive strips, gel pens, trays, whitening toothpastes, and whitening rinses on the market. Some products offer visible results in two hours, whereas others can take several weeks to show improvement. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for use.

3. Mash fresh, hulled strawberries into a paste. Apply the strawberry paste to your teeth and allow it to sit on the surface of your enamel for no more than five minutes.

4. Mix equal parts water and baking soda into a paste. Apply the paste to your teeth with a toothbrush. Rinse thoroughly with water. The malic acid in the strawberries works with the baking soda to whiten teeth inexpensively.
