How to Block Multiple Websites
While it is a good idea to have Internet filters on your computer that allow you to block certain kinds of Web content, such as pornography, gambling sites and sites with other kinds of content you may find objectionable, you also may want to block multiple websites that your web filter may miss. For example, if you want to block several social networking sites from your computer, you can adjust your computer's settings to block each of these sites.

Click "Start," then click "Run" and type "notepad c:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" into the dialog box if you are using Windows XP or an earlier version of Windows. The select "Enter."
If you are using Windows Vista or later versions, type the text into the "Start Search" box and select the icon that appears at the top of the window.

Go to the last line of the document that opens and insert the following:
127.0.0.1 example1.com
127.0.0.1 example2.com
127.0.0.1 example3.com
127.0.0.1 example4.comReplace the examples with the actual names of the websites you want to block.

Insert as many or as few entries as you wish, depending on the number of websites you want to block.

Select "Ctrl-S" to save the document and close it. None of the sites you've entered will open on your computer.

Tips & Warnings
If you later decide to allow access to the sites you've banned, repeat Steps 1 and 2 and delete those websites from the list.
