How to See if Checking Accounts Were Reported to Chex Systems
Chex Systems is an organization that maintains a list of checking accounts that were overdrawn for such a long period of time that their banks closed the accounts and reported them to the service. If you have a checking account on Chex Systems, many banks will not allow you to open up an account with them until you make good on those accounts. You can see if your checking accounts were reported to Chex Systems by contacting the organization.
