Instructions

    • 1

Raise the lawnmower at least one level higher than normal, preferably two levels higher. Start the mower and make your first pass over the lawn.

    • 2

Empty the lawnmower grass catcher bag when it is full into either a lawn can or waste bag. Proceed with cutting the grass until all of the lawn is cut.

    • 3

Lower the mower to its original height and cut the lawn again. After cutting the lawn for a second time, patches of cut grass may be lying on the lawn. Use the garden rake to gather these into piles and put them in lawn cans or waste bags.

    • 4

Wash the bottom of the mower deck after cutting wet grass because wet grass will mold and emit a foul odors. Leaving wet grass on the mower can also rust the deck underneath.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not hurry when you are cutting wet grass. This causes the mower to bog down.
