How to Redeem EE Savings Bonds
Series EE savings bonds are bonds issued by the federal government that accrue interest over time. Savings bonds are commonly given as gifts for weddings, christenings, birthdays and other special occasions. If you are given a Series EE savings bond and would like to redeem it, you can take it to the bank where you have an account and deposit it or cash it.
