How to Attach a Night Vision to a Rifle Scope

Equipping your rifle with a night-vision scope enables you to hunt nocturnal animals such as coyotes. But first check with your local authorities on the legality of hunting with a night-vision scope. Make sure your rifle is equipped with weaver-style mounts before attempting to attach a night-vision scope.

Instructions

1. Make sure the rifle isn't loaded.

2. Loosen the mounting screws at the base of the night-vision scope and widen the scope's mounting bracket.

3. Place the night-vision scope on the weaver-style base, aligning the mounting screws with the slots cutting across the weaver base.

4. Position the mounting bracket along the sides of the weaver base and tighten the mounting screws.
