The Bissell PowerForce Bagless Vacuum offers consumers a variety of helpful features. As the name implies, there's no bag to replace. It has a plastic dirt cup instead. This vacuum also has a powerful motor, a filtration system, an extra-long power cord, and an extension wand with attachments for those hard-to-reach areas. Locate the filters inside the sweeper and make sure they are in place. The post-motor filter is on the front, right below the dirt cup. And the inner and outer circular filters are located in the bottom of the dirt cup. If you're not sure how the filters fit into place, refer to the owner's manual.
Also, make sure the dirt cup is in the locked position. If it's not, the sweeper will lose suction and not operate correctly.

Set the height adjustment on the Bissell PowerForce Bagless Vacuum. It's located on the front of the machine. The "Lowest" settings are designed for use on bare floors. The "Medium" settings are for short and medium-pile carpets. The "Highest" settings are for plush carpet.

Place the polarized plug into an electrical outlet. Then, press the handle release button down to operate the vacuum. It's located at the left, on the rear body of the machine, above the wheel. Press the button once, and the handle will release so you can sweep most areas. Press the handle release button twice, and the handle will lower all the way to the floor. This allows you to reach underneath furniture and other low places.

Turn the sweeper on by pushing the power switch down. It's located on the back of the Bissell PowerForce Bagless Vacuum. It's above, and to the right of the handle release. Push the button again to shut the vacuum off. Lift the handle back up into the upright position when you're finished, or to store the machine.
