How to Block Google Pop-Up Ads

Microsoft Windows Vista allows you to easily block Google pop-up ads using its built-in pop-up blocker utility. This utility blocks all pop-up windows, including Google pop-ups, while you are surfing the Internet. The pop-up blocker also saves precious bandwidth, which is otherwise wasted on opening useless web pages.

Instructions

    • 1

      Click on "Start" and then click on "Control Panel."

      Double-click on the "Internet Options" icon on the Control Panel window.

      Click on the "Privacy" tab of the Internet Options dialog box that opens.

      Click to select the "Turn on Pop-up Blocker" check box.

    • 5

      Click the "Apply" button and then click "OK."
