How to Configure Office Live Email Outlook on a Mobile Phone

Your mobile phone can have Internet capabilities if you have the right programs and are setting them up correctly. Office Live email, through Outlook, is contained in a program called Office Live Mobile. You can also access your email through Microsoft Office Mobile, which is another program. Office or Outlook Mobile Live are programs installed on Windows phones, but you can download Microsoft Mobile onto any phone with Internet capabilities.

Instructions

1. Open Windows Mobile on your non-Windows cell phone, or open Microsoft Windows Outlook Live on your Windows phone. Turn on the program and click on the "Menu" option.

2. Follow the on-screen instructions. They include entering your email address and your password. They also include choose a four-digit pin number for your mobile email account.

3. Check "Yes" or "No" for options that come up next. These include whether to send notifications for emails to a mobile device, whether to view email on both a computer and a phone, and whether to use sound notifications or icon notifications. Once you make your notification choices, click "OK."
