Instructions

    • 1

Sprinkle a generous layer of cornstarch on the stain. Allow it to sit for fifteen minutes to soak up any excess oil.

    • 2

Brush the cornstarch off, and treat the stain with a laundry stain treatment, such as "Resolve" or "Spray'n'Wash." Allow it to penetrate for the manufacturer's recommended time.

    • 3

Launder in the hottest water possible, and allow the garment to air dry. Once dry, check to see if any traces of the stain remain. If so, repeat steps 1 through 3 until the stain is gone.

Tips & Warnings

  • Always check the label on clothes for laundering specifications. Anything that requires dry cleaning should be taken to a professional for treatment.
