How to Use Image Weed Control With a Hose End Sprayer
Image weed control is designed to be used on St. Augustine grass and Centipede grass. It contains Aterazine, which kills the weeds by starving them. Aterazine is poisonous; take caution when applying the product to the lawn, and do not apply on a windy day. Using Image weed control with your hose-end sprayer helps you safely cover your area and kill weeds such as Chickweed, Crabgrass, Dichondra and other weeds listed on the product. Measure the area you need to treat with Image. Obtain the length and the width of your area and multiply the two measurements together to obtain the square footage. For example, if the proposed area measures 10-foot-by-10-foot, the total square footage equals 100 square feet. Use 5 teaspoons of Image per 100 square feet.

If you use a hose-end sprayer that allows you to adjust the amount of product per gallon of water sprayed, pour Image into the sprayer and set the dial to 4.3 fluid ounces per gallon of water. Wait 72 hours before watering your yard. Only apply two applications of Image per year.
