How to Fix Browser Screen Freezes on a Playstation 2
Browser screen freezes are a common occurrence among the Sony Playstation 2 video game consoles--they are older gaming systems and have had plenty of time to gather a buildup of dirt and debris inside their hard plastic casings. Assuming you have a precise mechanical touch and are willing to break warranty on your Sony console, you can open up the casing and clean the inside to enable better performance.

Unplug any cords from the PS2 console and remove any games that may have been left in the disc drive.

Place the PS2 on an unfolded newspaper.

Unscrew the eight screws from the back of the console using your Phillips head screwdriver. Place the screws safely aside.

Carefully open the plastic casing of the PS2 and set it aside.

View the insides of the system and locate the disc assembly to the right.

Unscrew the top of the disc assembly with your Phillips head screwdriver and place both the screws and plastic cover to the side.

Use the can of compressed air to clean out the system. Blow away any loose dust and debris.

Use your tweezers to carefully remove any large foreign objects that weren't blown away with the compressed air.

Replace both the disc assembly cover and the PS2's plastic casing.

Tips & Warnings
You must be incredibly cautious when opening and cleaning the insides of the Playstation 2. If any of the internal components endure a sudden impact (i.e. dropping a foreign object onto the unprotected disc drive), you run the risk of permanently damaging your console.
