How to Check a PayPal Account

PayPal is an online money transferring site used by many around the world to make purchases and payments online. Typically, a PayPal account is linked to one's checking account, which allows you quickly make deposits and withdrawals. Part of PayPal's popularity draws from the fact that the site is secure and very easy to use. Checking all recent activity and transactions on a PayPal account are simple and take a matter of minutes to look through.

      Go to paypal.com and enter your email address and password into the box on the left, then hit "Log In".

      Look at your account balance in the center of the screen. Recent activity for the past 7 days will be displayed underneath under "My Recent Activity". Look through all these transactions to make sure there are no errors.

      Select "View all of my transactions" on the right hand side to see a list of all deposits, withdrawals, and transfers made to and from your account. These transactions are in chronological order starting with the most recent. Skim through these transactions to make sure all the charges and actions were made and authorized by you.

      Hit the "Contact us" link on the right hand side to ask questions or send concerns to the PayPal staff through email or by phone.
