How to Save Directions From Google Maps
Google Maps lets you save driving directions for multiple starting points and destinations. In order to use this feature, you'll need a Google account, which does not cost anything. Saving your driving directions allows you to view or print the driving directions at a later time. By doing this, you'll be able to access the directions without re-entering the starting or destination address.

Visit the Google Maps website. Click "Sign In" in the upper-right corner to sign in to your Google account.

Click on "Get Directions." Type your starting location under the box labeled "A." Type your destination address under the box labeled "B." Click "Get Directions" to generate the driving directions.

Click on the route you want, if multiple routes are available. Note the estimated elapsed time for the specific route.

Scroll down to the bottom of the driving directions. Click "Save to My Maps." Highlight "Create a New Map." Name your map and click "Save." The driving directions are saved in your "My Maps" profile.

Click "My Maps" and the name you gave the directions. This allows you to view the saved directions.

Tips & Warnings
If you want to save driving directions without using your Google account, you can highlight the directions with your mouse. Right-click and select "Copy." Open a word-processing program, right-click and select "Paste." You may lose some formatting.
