How to Troubleshoot an Apple Bluetooth Mouse
One of the basic features of the current generation of Apple desktop computers is the integrated Bluetooth. In order to take advantage of this feature, many models ship with a wireless mouse and keyboard. 1
Re-sync your mouse. If it has been a long time since you have used your mouse, it could have fallen out of sync with your computer. To sync your Apple Bluetooth mouse, launch the Bluetooth setup assistant by selecting "Set up Bluetooth Device" from the Bluetooth area of the top menu bar. A wizard will then guide you though the rest of the syncing process.

2
Charge the mouse. If the mouse is low on battery, it might not work correctly or "stutter" across the screen. To charge the mouse, simply connect the small end of the charge cable that came with the mouse to the charge port on the mouse. Then connect the large end to the computer's USB port. Note: if your mouse is not Apple's "Mighty Mouse" model, it may use batteries for charge.

Move the mouse closer to the desktop. If you are using your mouse at a distance from your computer, the signal may become weak. Move within 10 feet of your computer for best result with your mouse.

Disconnect other Bluetooth devices. Although your Apple computer should be able to connect to seven Bluetooth peripherals at a time, the Bluetooth signal can start to degrade if more than four devices are connected.
