Connecting your USB printer to your D-link router will enable you to share your printer across the network. This is accomplished in by connecting the printer to a computer connected to the router. This procedure can generally be accomplished in about 10 to 20 minutes.

  • Plug the USB printer into any USB port on a computer that is connected to your D-Link DIR-635 router.

  • Open "Start," select "Control Panel" and click "Printers."

  • Select the option to "Add Printer" and follow the onscreen instructions to install the printer to that computer.

  • Open "Start," select "Control Panel" and click "Printers."

  • Right-click on the USB printer and select "Share." Click on the option to "Share this printer" to share it across your D-Link DIR-635 network.
