How to Make a Free Model Airplane Cutout

A cutout is a picture that's been cut out of its background.

A cutout is a picture from which the background has been removed. Making a free model airplane cutout can therefore be done with very few materials, using only household items. All you need from outside your house, is a picture of an airplane. Those can be found by doing a quick search on your favorite search engine.

Things You'll Need

• Internet access
• Printer
• One sheet of construction paper
• Glue stick
• Multipurpose glue
• Scissors

Instructions

1. Log on to the Internet to your favorite search engine, and type in "Airplane images" in the search bar. Click "Search" and browse through the results until you find a picture of an airplane you like. Preferably a large picture. Google, Yahoo, and Bing are all examples of search engines.

2. Print the picture of the by selecting File/Print and following the print wizard. Once the picture has been printed out, paste the picture onto a sheet of construction paper using a glue stick, or multipurpose glue.

3. Cut out the background from the picture of the airplane using a pair of scissors. Make sure that you get as close to the airplane as you can when cutting out the background.
