How Can I Open a Publisher Document?
Microsoft Office Publisher is a program typically included in the Microsoft Office Suite and includes desktop publishing applications enabling the creation, personalization and sharing of various marketing communications materials. A Microsoft Publisher document typically has a file extension format of .pub. If you do not have Microsoft Office Publisher, there is an alternative solution to opening a Publisher document. Contact the creator of the document and ask him to save the document to a different format that you can view, such as a .txt format, which represents a plain text document, or a .docx format, representing a Word 2007 document. If the content is of greater importance than the layout, the optimal format would be plain ASCII text, but if graphics must remain, intact ASCII text will not suffice.
