How to Make Your Golf Driver Look Like New

How to Make Your Golf Driver Look Like New thumbnail
Clean your golf clubs before the next outing.

The look of a golf club says a lot about the golfer and how much he cares about the sport. A dirty, dinged up club shows a lack of respect for the club, and thus, the game. Because of this, one should keep the gold clubs, including the driver, looking like new at all times. Cleaning the club doesn't take long and can be done after every golf outing and event.

Instructions

    • 1

Fill a bucket with warm water just enough to cover the head of the driver. Add in a small amount of dish washing soap until it becomes bubbly, then submerge the head of the golf driver.

    • 2

Remove the driver from the soap and water after two or three minutes.

    • 3

Clean the grooves in the driver's head with a toothbrush to loosen any dirt still stuck on the golf club.

    • 4

Rinse off the club with water, then dry off the head with a clean rag.

    • 5

Dip the clean cloth into the water and soap mixture, then rub it over the grip of the driver to remove any dirt and oil on the club. Once the grip is clean dry off the club and leave it out to completely dry. Avoid putting it directly back into the golf bag, otherwise the club can form mold if not completely dry.
