How to Fix a MoVox MP3 Player
The MoVox MP3 player is a small, inexpensive MP3 player made with a large display screen and a plastic casing (making it extremely susceptible to damage). While using the MP3 player you may run into some issues with malfunctioning. Due to the cheap parts used to make the device, this is common.

1
Press down and hold the "Power" button. When the display screen fails to read your button presses you need to reset the power on the device. After a few moments the MoVox MP3 player shuts down. Leave it off for a few moments, then press "Power" to turn the MP3 player back on.

2
Charge the MoVox MP3 player through its USB cable connection. Plug the USB data cable into the USB port at the bottom of the device, then insert the opposite end of the cable into a USB port on a computer. This adds power to the battery.

3
Upload only MP3 files to the MoVox device. Although it does support WAV, ACT WMA and OGG playback adding the different audio formats can confuse the MoVox MP3 player, causing it to lock up and fail during playback. Connect the MP3 player to your computer, remove all the songs and upload only MP3 tracks to the device.

4
Wait to charge the MoVox MP3 player until the battery is almost dead. The MP3 player adapts to a charge if performed while half the battery has power still. If this routine is performed multiple times the MoVox MP3 player begins to only use the first half of the battery, shortening the total charge time of the MoVox digital player.
