How to Make Free Boot CD for XP
Boot disks are designed to help you fix problems with your operating system, either through tools that correct errors or allowing you access to the registries. Having a boot disk is invaluable, if you want to keep the number of times you reinstall your operating system low. Microsoft replaces damaged disks, but if you want a Windows XP boot CD for free, you need to burn it yourself using a free software package, or "freeware."
