How to Put Cool Stationary on Your Emails in Outlook Web Access


Creating your own stationery in Microsoft's Outlook email editor can give your emails a customized, personal touch. Using the stationery option allows users to integrate custom stationery based off of any compatible graphics file saved on the host computer. If you don't have any pictures suitable for your e-mail stationery, simply choose one of the program's preset templates.

Things You'll Need

  • PC
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Select the "Tools" menu in Microsoft Outlook and select "Options". Press the "Mail Format" tab.

  • Choose the "HTML" option from the "Compose in this message format" listing. Select "Stationery Picker" and enter the name for the stationery being created.

  • Point to "Choose how to create your stationery" and choose the option you need. Click on "Next", and select all of the options you would like to use for the stationery.

  • Save your template with a unique name and create new templates as necessary. Remember to save all of your templates with a different name.

Tips & Warnings

  • Click on "Browse" and navigate to the pathway of potential, already existing, customized backgrounds for the stationery.
