How to Remove Candle Wax From Laminate Floors
The glow of wax candles provides a soothing ambiance in any room, but when spilled and then dried, can create a mess that's hard to clean up. It's possible to remove spilled, hardened candle wax stains from your laminate floor. Most of the supplies you'll need can be found in your home or at the grocery store. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Paper towel
- Ice bag
- Plastic scraper
- Old dryer sheet
- Bucket
- White vinegar
- Water
- Clean cloth

Lay a paper towel over the wax stain. Place a bag of ice on top of the paper towel and wax and allow it to sit for 15 minutes so the wax can harden completely.

Scrape the hardened wax off, very gently, using a plastic scraper.

Old dryer sheets can be saved for other household tasks. Buff the area where the wax was using an old dryer sheet. The dryer sheet will lift any remaining wax residue from your laminate floor.

Mix one part white vinegar with four parts water in a bucket. Dip a clean cloth in the vinegar solution and wring out. Use this solution to clean the area where the wax was removed.

Use wide candle holders for your candles so they don't drip or spill over onto your laminate floors.
