1
Place the note on a flat surface, with one of the shorter sides closest to you.
-
2
Fold the bottom edge upward to the top edge. Crease the paper and unfold. Your note will have a horizontal crease across the middle.

-
3
Fold the top-left corner across the page so that upper-left edge runs along the center crease.
-
4
Fold the lower-right corner across the page so that the lower-right edge runs along the center crease. Only two small rectangles of the note side of the sheet are now visible: one in the top-right corner and one in the bottom-right corner.
-
5
Fold the outside edges of each rectangle inward so that they line up with the opposite rectangle edge. Crease the paper. You will now have what looks like a diamond, only with six edges.
-
6
Fold the top-right corner across the page so that the upper-right edge lines up with the center crease.
-
7
Fold the lower-left corner across the page so that the lower-left edge lines up with the center crease. You will end up with a rectangular shape with a fold running diagonally from the upper-right corner to the lower-left.
-
8
Fold the tips under the lower folds at the upper-right corner and at the lower-left corner, securing the closure of your note in the shape of an envelope. Your reader needs to only pull these tabs out to unfold the note and read your message.
