How to Develop a Perfect Memory Audio Book Bittorrent
Audio books are simple to create and distribute using your home computer and a BitTorrent client. The BitTorrent protocol has allowed people to distribute large and small files to anyone who wants them, at any time. With a couple of pieces of software (usually free) and a little time, you can create your own torrents to distribute your audio books with minimum fuss.

Write the script for your How to Develop a Perfect Memory audio book. This is important because without a script, you run the risk of rambling and being ineffective, which makes listeners turn off. If you have time, write three drafts of the script so it is as polished and refined as possible.

Record yourself (or a professional reader, if you have one) reading the script using recording software, such as Audacity, Goldwave or GarageBand. Save this reading as a WAV file if you plan on releasing the audiobook on CD. Save the recording as an MP3 for easier distribution on the Internet. If the recording is long, consider splitting it into individual files covering each chapter or section.

Run your BitTorrent client (such as uTorrent, Transmission or BitComet) and select "Create New Torrent." Select the file (or files, if you chose to split the recording) to be included in the new torrent. Enter the details of at least one public torrent tracker (so the torrent will propagate) and make sure you do not select "private torrent." Save the torrent file and upload it to one or more torrent tracking websites.

Tips & Warnings
A quality microphone will make even the most inexperienced reader sound more professional. Although most modern laptops and webcams come with built-in microphones, consider using an external microphone to cut down on background noise on your recordings. Consider also running a background noise filter over your recording to enhance sound quality, and try adding a little music to the start and end of each chapter or file.
As with all creative works, your audio book will be your own copyright and therefore you are free to distribute it as a torrent. However, if you are using another person's copyrighted material in your torrent, in whole or in part, you will be committing a criminal offense under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act unless you have received their written permission beforehand.
