How to Remove Ink From a Wooden Table
Ink stains are one of the hardest stains to treat, whether the stain is on clothes or furniture. An ink stain on a wooden table needs treatment as soon as possible to keep the stain from becoming permanent. Ink absorbs into the wood table making it difficult to remove the longer it remains. Proper removal of the ink stain keeps your wooden table looking blemish-free. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Blot at wet ink with paper towels to remove as much as possible from the wooden table.
-
2
Moisten a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and wipe onto the wood table. Rubbing alcohol softens the ink, allowing you to lift it from the table. Repeat with clean cotton balls as you continue removing the ink stain.

3
Prepare a paste of baking soda and four to five drops of water. Apply the paste to any leftover ink stain on the wood table.
-
4
Scrub the stain gently with a damp rag and the baking soda paste. The baking soda provides enough agitation to work on the ink stain without scratching the wood. Wipe the stain and paste away with a clean damp rag. Dry with a soft cloth.
-
5
Spray the wooden table with furniture polish and wipe clean. The furniture polish restores the shine that the cleaners stripped from the wood table.
