How to Create a Ringtone for the iPhone on a PC
The iTunes program on your Windows PC is primarily a media manager for your iPhone, and can also be used to create ringtones specifically for the mobile device. Previously purchased music can be converted into a short clip, which can be used as your iPhone's default ringtone or assigned to a contact. Once converted in iTunes, you must purchase the customized clip from the iTunes Store before you can begin using it.
