Navigate to a website that lets you make MySpace countdown clocks, such as Zoodu, Wish A Friend or Countdown Clock Codes (see Resources). The sites let you customize countdown clocks and offer sporting themes.

Enter the date of your sporting event, including the day, month, year and time of day. The websites let you count down to an event in the coming weeks, or even an event more than a year away. The clock counts down to the exact day and time of the sporting event.

Select a skin for your countdown clock. The skin refers to the image used on the countdown clock. The websites offer multiple skin choices. Images include basketball pictures, hockey pictures, racing images and football images.

Add a message to your sporting countdown clock, using the space provided. The message is superimposed on your final countdown clock and serves as a way to tell your friends what the countdown clock indicates or what you're excited about.

Copy the HTML code given after you've finished making your sports countdown clock. Log into your MySpace account, select the "Edit Profile" link from the homepage and paste the code into the desired location. Preview your profile and save the profile.
