Go to the Xoom website (see the Resource section for link). Xoom offers a cheap option for sending money to Mexico. Click on the "Send Money" button at the top of the page. Enter in the information to create a Xoom account and click on "I agree, create a free account." Log into your account and click on the option to send money. Enter the details for the recipient's information, the amount you are sending and the billing information. Click to send and confirm. You will receive a confirmation message on the website and in your email inbox.

Go to the Western Union website and click on the link to "Send Money." Click on "Send Money Online." Create an account if you don't already have one. You will need to confirm your email address by clicking on a link in the email you will receive after creating the account. Enter in the information for where in Mexico you are sending the money, the person you are sending it to, the amount of the transaction and the credit card to use to send it. Click the "Send" button to finalize the transaction. Depending on the amount of the transaction and if this is your first time using the website, you may have to call Western Union afterward to confirm the transaction.

Use PayPal to send money to Mexico. Log into your PayPal account. Click on the "Send Money" link and then the "Send money abroad" link at the bottom right of the page. The recipient must have a PayPal account also. Enter in the recipient's email address that is associated with their PayPal account and the amount you want to send. Calculate the fees and currency conversion amounts. Choose the payment method; PayPal balance, credit card or bank account. Confirm and send the funds.
