How to Make Girl Cartoon Dolls

Long eyelashes help differentiate girl cartoon dolls

Making a girl cartoon doll is similar to making boy cartoon dolls except you have to add features to the cartoon dolls that are clearly female. Drawing longer hair, breasts and female clothing onto a cartoon doll will clearly differentiate a girl from a boy cartoon doll.

Instructions

    • 1

Draw a cartoon doll shape on a blank sheet of paper using a pencil. First draw a circle which will be the head and then draw a rectangular shape directly below the circle for the body. Between the head and the body, draw a cylinder shape which will be the neck. You do not have to add a neck if the body and head connect.

    • 2

Draw a cross across the center of the circle to determine where the eyes, nose and mouth of your cartoon doll will be.

    • 3

Draw eyes on the horizontal line, one eye on either side of the vertical line. Draw a nose on the vertical line. Draw a mouth below the nose, using the vertical line to determine the center of the mouth. Draw long eyelashes on the eyes. Draw eyebrows directly above the eyes. Draw ears on the outside of the circle, using the horizontal line to determine the center of each ear.

    • 4

Draw long hair over the circle, making sure not to get too much hair into the eyes of the doll. Draw a dress-like image over the rectangular shape of the doll's body.

    • 5

Erase all of the first lines drawn including the cross across the face and whatever parts of the circle go into the doll's hair or ears. To make the erasing easy, trace over all the lines you want to keep using a marker, or pen, then erase all the pencil lines.
