How Do I Become a Substitute Teacher in Ohio?
Substitute teaching is a rewarding career that allows you to help others while still maintaining a flexible, and commonly part-time, schedule. Working as a substitute teacher can also be a wonderful way to obtain a full-time teaching position. If you want to work as a substitute teacher within the state of Ohio, you must first obtain the credentials necessary. Because substitute teachers work in a one-on-one capacity with children, they are required to undergo rigorous background checks. Once you complete the mandated steps, you will be qualified and ready to work as a substitute teacher.
