How to Make Candy Labels
Personalizing candy bars is a fantastic way to offer your party guests a sweet treat and take-home favor at the same time. Custom candy bar wrappers make great favors for weddings, baby showers, birthday parties and graduations. Make personalized labels for any size candy bar using basic craft supplies that match the theme of the party. Find a variety of paper in every color, theme and style imaginable at your local craft store, along with miniature embellishments to add decoration to the labels.
Things You'll Need
- Candy bars
- Ruler
- Paper
- Paper cutter/scissors
- Embellishments
- Markers
- Double-sided tape

Remove the original labels from the candy bars, carefully, leaving the inner wrappers, which directly touch the candy, in place.

Measure the original candy bar label, and cut a sheet of paper the exact same size using a paper cutter or pair of scissors. Use any style paper you like, including metallic paper, patterned scrapbook paper or solid colored cardstock.

Decorate the paper with your favorite colors, shapes and themes using craft embellishments like rubber stamps, stickers or ribbon. Consider the theme of the occasion and use matching decorations.

Write on the label with decorative colored markers. Include the reason for the special label, such as a birthday, baby shower or anniversary.

Wrap the label around each candy bar. Place a line of double-sided tape on one end of the paper to secure the opposite end of the label. Using double-sided tape allows the tape to be hidden.
