How to Clean CleanMax Vacuums
Carpeted floors can develop into a breeding ground for germs and bacteria, if not vacuumed. Over a short period of time, untreated carpeting can cause problems for those who suffer from allergies or asthma. Vacuuming on a regular schedule can prevent these types of issues, and regular machine maintenance will allow the vacuum to run at its best performance. You should run a well-maintained vacuum over carpeted flooring at least once a week. Does this Spark an idea?

Unplug appliances when servicing them. Unplug the vacuum cleaner. Pull out the lid of the attachment port opening. Remove the replaceable vacuum bag. Remove the filter. Turn the vacuum over and remove the bottom plate.

The cloth should be damp, not saturated. Wipe down all areas of the vacuum with a damp cloth. Focus most time on the nozzle hose on the back of the cleaner. This hose carries all of the dirt and debris to the vacuum bag. The underside of the machine has a rotating brush for picking up the dirt. This part often collects strings and hair. Cut away the string and hair safely with a blade or scissor.

Tips & Warnings
Use only CleanMax bags and filters; otherwise the machine will not stay as clean and could stop operating normally. Bring the vacuum in for service once a year to increase the life of the machine.
Always unplug the vacuum before servicing it. Do not use chemicals or cleaning agents on it. If parts are broken or missing, repair the machine before additional use to prevent future damage or injury.
