Instructions

    • 1

Lay two 31-inch boards flat and parallel so the outside edges are 22 inches apart. Screw a 22-inch board to the ends of 4-by-4 boards so the 22-inch board is flat and on top of the 4-by-4s. The 22-inch edge of the board should be flush with the ends of the 4-by-4s. Screw another 22-inch board in the same manner, 16 inches from the first. Repeat this process with the last two 31-inch and 22-inch boards.

    • 2

Stand both sets of 4-by-4 boards upright, so they form a rectangle with the outside measurements of 22 inches by 48 inches. The 22-inch boards that are flush with the 4-by-4 boards should be on top. Screw through the ends of the four 48-inch boards into the edges of the 22-inch boards. All of the ends of these boards should be flush with the 22-inch boards.

    • 3

Screw the last two 48-inch boards to the ends of the 2-by-6 boards that are 16 inches below the top 2-by-6 boards. There should be one board on each side to add support to the work bench.
