Microsoft's MSN, initially known as The Microsoft Network, is an Internet portal that offers a number of Microsoft-owned websites and services. Among these offerings is Bing (formerly Live Search), which is the official search engine for MSN. Consider submitting your site to this top searching tool to ensure that your Internet presence is found by as many people as possible. Using Bing's submission page, add your own page to the Web crawler (MSNBot) to make sure that your URL address can be found in future MSN results.

      Access Bing's "URL Submission" page. (See Resources.)

      Enter the displayed CAPTCHA (series of numbers and letters) in the "Characters" text field.

      Type in your Web page address in the "Type the URL of your homepage" field. Enter your full address in the following format:

      http://www.yourwebpage.com

    • 4

      Click the "Submit URL" button to finish adding your Web page to MSN.
