How to Draw Vintage Lace on Wedding Dresses
Drawing lace refers to the practice of sewing it onto garments as a decorative touch. Vintage or antique lace is lace passed down from previous generations, and is considered an heirloom. Determine the location for the lace.

Pin the lace to the edge of the dress.

Sew the lace onto the wedding dress using matching thread.

Combine the lace ends by sewing the right sides together, pressing the ends down and stitching up the fold of the seam.

Place the lowest layer of the lace on the dress and pin it into position.

Sew it into position using a sewing machine and matching thread. Combine the lace ends by sewing the sides together, pressing the ends down and stitching up the fold of the seam.

Place the next layer on top of the previous layer, overlapping them slightly and pinning as you proceed.

Sew this layer into place. Combine the lace ends by sewing the sides together, pressing the ends down and stitching up the fold of the seam.
