Instruction to Make a Lipstick Pinata
A lipstick pinata is an ideal game and decoration for a girl's party or even a fun touch to an adult girls' night party. The instructions to make the lipstick pinata are basically the same for any type of pinata, the difference will be in the decorations. As the paper mache needs several days to set, make sure you begin creating the pinata at least a few days before the event. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Flour
- Water
- Bowl
- Paint brush
- Newspaper
- Balloon
- Scissors
- Candy
- Masking tape
- Red tissue paper
- Black tissue paper
- Glue
Instructions

Making the Pinata

Cover your work area with newspaper to eliminate mess.

Mix one part water with one part flour to create the paper mache.

Blow up a long, thin balloon, such as ones used for making balloons animals, and tie the end.

Cut strips of newspaper of varying sizes out of the newspaper. Dip the strips into the paper mache mixture and use them to cover the balloon. Leave the area where the balloon tie is uncovered.

Let the balloon dry overnight once it is completely covered with the paper mache newspaper strips.

Make another one part flour one part water mixture.

Add another coat of the paper mache newspaper strips to the pinata and let it dry overnight.
Decorating

Pop the balloon and remove it from the hard paper mache shell.

Fill the pinata with candy through the hole where the balloon tie was, and cover it with masking tape once filled.

Paint red tissue paper with glue and wrap the top section of the pinata with it to cover. This will form the lipstick.

Paint black tissue paper with glue and wrap the bottom portion of the pinata with it as the lipstick holder.
