    • 2

    • 3

Blow up a long, thin balloon, such as ones used for making balloons animals, and tie the end.

Cut strips of newspaper of varying sizes out of the newspaper. Dip the strips into the paper mache mixture and use them to cover the balloon. Leave the area where the balloon tie is uncovered.

    • 5

Let the balloon dry overnight once it is completely covered with the paper mache newspaper strips.

    • 6

Make another one part flour one part water mixture.

    • 7

Add another coat of the paper mache newspaper strips to the pinata and let it dry overnight.

    Decorating

    • 8

Pop the balloon and remove it from the hard paper mache shell.

    • 9

Fill the pinata with candy through the hole where the balloon tie was, and cover it with masking tape once filled.

    • 10

Paint red tissue paper with glue and wrap the top section of the pinata with it to cover. This will form the lipstick.

    • 11

Paint black tissue paper with glue and wrap the bottom portion of the pinata with it as the lipstick holder.
