Go to the Library of Congress website to search for labor and employee rights. Look up labor laws by the state in which you reside to get the appropriate employee rights for your area.

Call the U.S. Department of Labor through the toll-free number at (866) 4-USA-DOL to investigate employee rights. Contacting the Department of Labor can be done Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern time.
